How Do You Solve A Problem Like “The Sound of Music”?

So, remember when I mentioned in a previous post about arranging my day around a viewing of “Mary Poppins”? Well, a few days after that the BBC broadcasted “The Sound of Music”. I had forgotten what an enjoyable movie that is…and how freakin’ catchy the songs are! In the week since I watched the movie, my internal stereo (aka my brain) has been playing “My Favorite Things”, “The Sound of Music”, “Edelweiss’, “16 Going On 17”, etc. repeatedly. This morning I woke at 5:30am only to have “How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria” swirl through my head for the next three hours, before I finally gave up and got out of bed. The hills should not be alive with the sound of music so early in the morning! UGH.
